The Role
This position will be part of the Infrastructure team supporting network security and firewall across Mapletree Group.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first, second level Network support.
- Experience in configuring, troubleshooting routing and switching protocol - BGP, OSPF, HSRP, layer 2 switch eg VLAN, STP
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining a firewall solution.
- Working knowledge of OSI layer 7 protocols including TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, http/https
- Experience in network segmentation through routing, VPN, SD-WAN, Firewall.
- Experience in Solarwinds, familiar with SIEM, syslog.
- Experience with security products, Fortinet, Palo Alto, url filtering, IPS, IDS.
- Primary responsibility for firewall management.
- Responsible for support of projects, change requests where needed and accommodate project/change timelines and work schedules.
- Able to manage, plan and resource projects effectively in a complex organisation
- Understanding of incident, problem, change management processes
- Ensuring network systems are compliance to security policies, follow the standard operating process (SOP)
- Remediate security vulnerabilities highlighted by Vulnerability Management Process.
- Working with vendors that provide managed services to the company, on incidents, troubleshooting, provide remediation to resolution.
- Good team player and able to work at all levels, confident, self-driven.
- Manage Operational admin activities like:Supervising vendors and ensuring works are carried out appropriately, ensuring SLA are met, monthly reporting.
Procuring equipment and services
Maintaining billing records, contract expiry and coordinating payments
Updating documentation for system, equipment inventory, SOPs etc
Monitoring systems
Preparing status reports for management
Provide incident management, troubleshooting, resolution and ensure internal SLA is fulfil.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Computer Science or other relevant studies.
- Must have 4 years of Network and Cybersecurity experience, or relevant.
- Knowledge/experiences in Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Meraki MX.
- Have network support experiences in an international setup.
- Able to speak Chinese will have an added advantage in communicating with China stakeholders.
- Experienced in managing vendors and procuring of services.
- Familiarity with Vulnerability Management Process is beneficial.
