Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional HR Project Manager, APAC to manage our training and development initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing various training programs, including leadership and technical training, internship programs, and mentoring initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Promoting Training:

  • Assist with Global L&D organizational development program implementations and deliveries - promotion of programmes and learning campaigns.
  • Provide support for implementation of plans and strategies on succession planning, talent development, leadership training etc.
  • Partner with regional senior management to select and localize learning and development programs that are scalable to the needs of the region in alignment with global and regional business needs
  • In partnership with regional leadership and key stakeholders, support Fugro’s strategic objectives by fostering a learning culture
  • Communicate regional business and employee needs with the global team and ensure that learning strategy, initiatives and priorities are in alignment.
  • Ensure an equitable and inclusive approach to L&D activity across APAC
  • Promote regional learning offerings and drive adoption and impact by regularly communicating and marketing available learning opportunities to the business and employees.
  • Identify and recommend regional Learning solutions to enhance performance such as role clarification, process standardization, etc.


APAC Training Matrix:

  • Collaborate with Service Lines and Functions to identify and define the competencies and skills required for the training matrix.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training matrix that includes both leadership and technical training components.
  • Work closely with the business to ensure employee technical competence is measured, monitored and compliant with industry standards and business expectations.

APAC ILT Participants:

  • Lead recruitment drives for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) programs.
  • Maintain close communication with ILT participants to monitor their progress.
  • Provide career development support and follow-up upon participants’ graduation from the program.

APAC UGro Participants:

  • Identify suitable personnel for the UGro program.
  • Track attendance and motivation levels of UGro participants.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to assess progress and identify potential for growth.
  • Support career development and follow-up post-graduation.

Internship Program:

  • Develop a structured internship program for technical personnel.
  • Liaise with educational institutions to recruit potential interns.
  • Monitor interns’ progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Identify high-potential interns for potential hiring opportunities.

Mentoring Program:

  • Design and implement a structured mentorship program.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins between mentors and mentees to ensure progress and address any challenges.

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition (TA) group in organizing and participating in recruitment drives at career fairs and campuses (e.g., ITE, Polytechnic, University).

Team Building:

  • Utilize Management Drive as a tool to facilitate team-building activities and enhance team cohesion.

Employee Success Stories:

  • Develop and share success stories of employees who have participated in UGro and ILT programs to inspire and motivate others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a regional or global role.
  • Strong understanding of talent development and competency frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
