1. Business Analyst shall:
a) Offer support in managing, maintaining, and testing IT application systems, ensuring their efficient operation and functionality;
b) Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for systems operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements;
c) Provide advisory role and guide team members on development of IT solutions to meet business and Authority’s needs;
d) Maintain Project Management Office, track documentation and monitoring of progress;
e) Co-ordinate and facilitate the audit reviews that can be conducted by party authorized by the Authority;
f) Review project deliverables (e.g. monthly project report, log review for privileged user access, test plan, test reports, application design/ code) to ensure the completeness for acceptance; and
g) Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps.
2. Business Analyst shall possess the following skill sets:
a) At least 3 years of experience as Business Analyst;
b) Strong knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies;
c) Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, business process mapping, prepare business requirement specification, flow charts, logical diagrams, process improvements; and
d) Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure etc. (preferred AWS).
3. Candidates possessing one or more of the following capabilities and expertise will have added advantages:
a) Cloud Certification from one or more Cloud Service Providers (preferred AWS);
b) Experience in SDLC-related projects in the past;
c) Knowledge of application security and best practices in application development standards and methodologies; and
d) Good knowledge of testing methodologies with working experience in performing various application and systems testing.
