Position Summary
Participate in tender exercise, prepare Bill of Quantity and budget estimate. Perform budget control for projects and submission of claims in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- To review contracts and ensure progress claim submissions are processed in a timely manner, based on contract stipulated due date.
- Follow up and ensure payment certificates are received on time from clients
- Work with Management on contractual issues
- Evaluate sub-contractor claims and Variation Order (VO) with cost benefit analysis
- Sourcing of supplier and negotiation for best rates
- Assist in handling and managing all cost aspects of project from inception to completion
- Assist Director/Sales Team in costings relating to sales enquiries and to prepare, monitor and submit quotations to clients, in particular for customized project.
- Attend site meetings and site valuations with client and consultants when required
- To keep abreast of current and upcoming developments and up-to-date knowledge of costs of construction materials
- To assist Director to perform any other related duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- 2 years working experience in related field
- Good communication skills (both spoken and written) in English and Chinese\
- Good organizing skills and attention to details
