Job Purpose
The role is to support Senior RMs to develop the Asian maritime finance business from the Department’s Singapore office in close coordination with Head Office, the various branches and subsidiaries of the Bank.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in arranging maritime finance transactions from deal sourcing, drafting term sheet, writing credit analysis reports, producing cashflow projections, reviewing documentation, until closing
- Assist in secondary sale transactions and loan transfers to actively manage the maritime finance portfolio
- Prepare and process credit-related reviews, waiver requests and covenant checks
- Meet market players together with Senior RMs and produce meeting reports or presentation decks
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, assisting in department administrative tasks and other ancillary tasks which may be assigned
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments such as credit, legal, internal audit, and other functions where relevant
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Min 3 years in banking or accounting or related field with good track record
- Knowledge in banking business and interest for the maritime industry
- Financial modelling and ability to perform finanacial statements analysis
- Able to prepare marketing and presentation material via powerpoint or other appropriate tools
- Able to communicate effectively and a team player
- Able to adapt quickly and multi-task efficiently
