What you'll do:
As a Reinsurance Technical Accounts Executive, your role will be pivotal in managing the treaty technical statements of account. You will monitor their timely receipt, handle their validation and processing, and support both month-end and year-end closings, including audits. Your responsibilities also include maintaining complete and accurate subsidiary ledgers. Furthermore, you will coordinate reinsurance and accounting matters with other departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient reporting.
* Monitor and ensure timely receipt of the treaty technical statements of account
* Handle the validation and processing of the treaty technical statements of account
* Support the month end closing and the year-end closing including audit
* Responsible for the maintenance of complete and accurate subsidiary ledgers
* Coordinates reinsurance and accounting matters and reporting with the other departments
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Reinsurance Technical Accounts Executive position brings at least six years of experience in handling general insurance technical accounting, preferably within a reinsurance environment. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with colleagues across departments. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for communicating with head office colleagues. Teamwork is key in this role, as is proficiency in using SICS.
* At least 6 years of working experience in handling general insurance technical accounting, preferably in a reinsurance environment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin languages for communicating with head office colleagues
* Ability to work well in a team
* Proficiency in using SICS is a plus
