Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by working closely with internal sales and product management to provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Own the responsibility for identifying and developing all new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Identify key construction and infrastructure projects in the region and engage with developers, engineering consultants, and project managers to specify company products.
- Actively work to obtain Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from subcontractors or installers, ensuring competitive quotes are submitted through distributors or direct sales channels.
- Drive new sales of building materials, promoting products that align with project specifications and client requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure sectors, raising awareness of the company’s offerings and unique solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide input on new product development, creating demand for these products within the construction industry.
- Provide cross-functional support to various areas of the business as needed, including technical assistance and post-sales service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in consultative sales, specifically within the building materials or construction industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a B2B external sales role, preferably working with direct and indirect sales channels.
- Deep understanding of project-based sales and the ability to engage with developers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative, discipline, and teamwork.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of using CRM tools for account and project management.
