Job Responsibilities:
- Data Management and Automation which Involve automating data collection, creating macros to perform repetitive tasks, and generating reports that can be shared across teams or used for decision-making. Automating loan portfolio tracking, interest rate calculations, or generating transaction reports.
- Developing custom tools for financial analysis, such as automating balance sheet analysis, cash flow forecasting, or risk assessment models. These tools help corporate bankers manage client portfolios, track performance, and identify potential risks efficiently.
- Work closely with relationship managers, risk managers, or operations teams to understand their specific needs, such as regulatory reporting, client performance metrics, or transaction monitoring.
- Ensure that these systems remain operational and provide day-to-day IT support to resolve issues promptly.
- Managing server performance, data backups, and system updates to protect against cybersecurity risks or downtime.
- Providing quick and efficient IT support to corporate bankers and back-office staff would be key in ensuring that any disruptions (e.g., system outages or performance lags) are minimized, allowing the business to function smoothly.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- With 3 - 5 years of experience in application development.
- Strong development skills using Microsoft VBA and willing to learn new programming language and technology such as RPA.
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with financial institutions is a significant advantage, as this provides an understanding of the specific regulatory and operational challenges of corporate banking.
