Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA/QC Engineer/Assistant Manager to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with production teams to enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished products.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and regulations, ensuring all products meet required specifications.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and practices.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality metrics.
- Support the preparation for external audits and customer inspections.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
