ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Associates are foreign-trained doctors on SMC’s granted temporary medical registration to work in specific departments in the Hospital. He/She will be expected to perform duties equivalent to that of a medical officer/junior resident level. He/She will be responsible for the clinical management of patients in the ward, assist in running outpatient clinics and/or assist in the operating theatre, if applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be in active clinical practice for the last 3 years.
- Possess basic Medical Degree from a medical university/ school accredited in the state in which it was awarded.
- Completed 3 years’ post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer in a relevant specialty.
- Candidates whose undergraduate medical studies/basic Medical Degree not conducted in the English language, must provide evidence of English Proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or OET).
