Note: The position will be based in China and Vietnam for 9-10 months
Salary up to S$9,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced quality monitoring systems to ensure product integrity and optimize yield in electronics manufacturing processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance product quality and consistency.
- Lead initiatives to resolve abnormal quality issues within the production process and ensure seamless integration of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions, focusing on preventive measures to avoid future quality concerns.
- Drive initiatives to strengthen internal quality control procedures, improving overall process capability.
- Introduce and implement best practices aimed at streamlining processes and maximizing operational efficiency across the manufacturing workflow.
- Lead efforts to address and resolve customer-reported quality issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions are delivered.
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, highlighting corrective actions, preventive measures, and ongoing improvements.
- Develop and oversee plans to optimize quality inspection procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technological advancements to improve inspection processes and outcomes.
- Foster open communication and collaboration across departments to maintain a cohesive and integrated approach to quality management.
- Oversee team coordination, including task assignments, performance management, and attendance monitoring.
- Develop and implement training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of the quality assurance team.
- Supervise the timely completion of tasks and projects, ensuring all quality objectives and timelines are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing), Quality Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of proven experience in quality management, with a focus on manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as TS16949 and VDA 6.3.
- Experience working with counterparts in China/Taiwan.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) is highly advantageous.
