Purpose:
GSK Tuas are looking for an Engineer who can join the project and commissioning phase of our new facility. The candidate will join at an exciting time for the site and will bring expert knowledge across some of the below Utilities and/or HVAC disciplines. After the project the candidate would remain responsible for some systems listed below.
The Project phase will require close work with the design and construction team and technicians to:
- Review and familiarization on Process equipment's (PID's, lay outs and block diagrams).
- Execute and review SAT/FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ protocols/reports
- Review of documentation (SOP's, WRA, Risk Assessments)
- Review and generation of maintenance plans
Following the project, the candidate will remain accountable for the designated system and would be accountable for:
- Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely. Maintain awareness in SEHS within Technical Services and strive for improvements.
- Quality: Ensure that all Engineering and maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with Engineering Standards and Procedures. Lead key Quality improvement projects. Assist and lead investigations and CAPA
- Reliability: Assure reliability of plant equipment and systems by managing team to implement conditioning monitoring and methods, conduct equipment measurement and improvement on repeating failure; evaluate/analyze data/results, provide recommendation and follow up monitoring
- Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement by providing recommendation and initiative to promote sustainability.

Clean utility system:
- Purified Water Generation
- Purified Water Storage and Distribution
- Water-for-Injection Generation
- Water-for-Injection Storage and Distribution
- Pure Steam Generation and Distribution
- Technical Gases and chemical distribution
- HVAC and Cleanroom systems
Black utility system:
- Cooling Tower
- Steam Boiler
- MVAC Boiler
- Glycol Chillers
- Air Compressors
- Air Dryer
- Liquid Nitrogen Package
- Trigeneration
Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
- Min 4 years of engineering experience with degree in engineering or min 6 years of engineering experience with diploma in engineering
- Min 2 years of technical experience in Bio/Pharma industry with degree or min 3 years of technical experience in Bio/Pharma industry with diploma
- Experience in GMP and safety practices
- Highly knowledgeable and competent in their field of work.
- Strong technical knowledge and well verse in all technical aspects.
- Substantial fault-finding and trouble-shooting experience.
- Strong leadership in team management.
- Good analytical skill in investigation.
- Lead complex issues investigation and detailed troubleshooting.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and communication skills.
