We seek an experienced Visual Merchandising Executive to lead our visual merchandising efforts across our Running Lab and Liv Activ stores and events while assisting the Retail Director with new store renovation projects.
Job Description:
As a Visual Merchandising Executive, you will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our stores. This position requires expertise in in-store layout design, planogram development, and visual merchandising to enhance product presentation and increase sales. You will also collaborate with the Retail Director on new store openings and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planogram Development: Design effective planograms to optimise product placement and drive sales.
- Store Layouts: Create appealing and functional layouts that ensure smooth customer flow and align with brand guidelines.
- Renovation Projects: Assist in the planning and executing of new store renovations.
- Visual Merchandising Strategy: Lead the implementation of visual merchandising strategies to enhance customer experience.
- Event Merchandising: Manage visual displays for external events such as trade shows, pop-ups, and sports events.
- Campaigns & Promotions: Develop and execute visual plans for seasonal campaigns and product launches.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and buying teams to align visual merchandising with business goals.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to keep our stores competitive.
- Mentorship: Mentor retail team members on maintaining high visual merchandising standards.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, focusing on store layout design and planograms.
- Experience with store renovation projects is a plus.
- Strong creative and design skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite, AutoCAD).
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel to store locations and event sites.
- Flexibility to work during non-operating hours when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sports, outdoor, or lifestyle retail.
- Previous experience managing store openings or renovations.
- A background in design or a related field is an advantage.
