Main Responsibilities:
1. Regional Business Development and Strategy:
• Oversee and drive the acceptance business in South East Asia, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Develop and execute regional business development plans, coordinating with various stakeholders to support Southeast Asia business growth initiatives.
• Lead the facilitation of resolutions aimed at enhancing business operations and performance within the region.
2. Strategic Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and implement KPI planning for Southeast Asia markets, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
• Analyze business performance data to track and monitor key indicators, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
3. Membership Development and Support:
• Act as the primary liaison with the Regional Member Council, overseeing the planning and organization of annual meetings and maintaining regular communication with Councilors.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction, fostering a strong community within the region.
4. Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide leadership and direction to the business development and member support teams, ensuring high performance and achievement of team objectives.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
5. Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and industry bodies, to facilitate business development and member support initiatives.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting the brand and expanding the company’s network.
Job Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline, with a preference for those with a background in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven track record in business development, with a strong understanding of the financial services, cards, and/or payments industry.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong cross-functional and cross-regional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation purposes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to travel within Southeast Asia and to the China HQ as required for business needs.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
