Responsibilities :-
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to completion;
- Oversee the day-to-day support and maintenance of IT applications;
- Conduct regular project committees, providing update to all stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor incident management and problem resolution processes;
- Implement proactive measures to enhance application reliability and availability. Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs);
- Provide first level suport to business based on reports from users or automated alerts – inspect logs, database and system;
- Review and test vendor deliverables and fixes, coordinate with business users for UAT;
- Propose system/ process improvements to improve platform reliability and reduce turnaround time on issues;
- Identify project risks, resolve or escalate as appropriate.
Requirements :-
- A good bachelor degree with at least 10 years' relevant experience in banking application development and/or production support, and 3-5 years managing SDLC processes;
- Experience in Java application development, exposure to IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, on AIX or Windows;
- Strong database querying and troubleshooting skills, using Oracle, and/or Microsoft SQL;
- Hands-on experience in supporting production applications, along with exceptional coordination, troubleshooting and resolution skills;
- Proficiency in project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SDLC) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence);
- Focus learning and development, ability to quickly close gaps in required business and tech skills;
- Strong leadership with a drive to maximize satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Effective communicator and an excellent team player;
- Experience with IBM FileNet or Suntec Product and Pricing Bundling applications may be advantageous.
