Our client, in the engineering sector, is currently looking for a group accountant to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The role involves being responsible for financial and management reporting tasks, handling consolidation of accounts, and producing monthly management reports for approximately 60 entities across 4 countries. Responsibilities also include the preparation of monthly financial reports, complete with consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and timely financial reporting with variance analysis, cash-flow projections and AR collection reports. The role also involves preparation of yearly financial statements, annual budgets, and quarterly forecast in coordination with department heads. Further duties include providing financial advice to assist with business decisions, managing external internal audits and statutory matters, as well as attending to any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Your Profile
The desired candidate should possess a degree in Accountancy or certification as a CPA, ACCA, or CA, along with at least 10 years of work experience. This experience should comprise at least four years handling group consolidation processes, including intercompany transactions between subsidiaries and joint ventures. Previous experience using Cognos will be considered an added advantage.
