- Work closely with the signal team to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations and WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations in daily lifting operations.
- Able to work from height to ascertain whether the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations and report this to the lifting supervisor.
- Perform pre-work inspection on the crane as required by the manufacturer’s handbook to ensure that it is safe for operation and report any malfunction of the crane.
- Be prepared to stop work or to notify the WSHE Department in the event of any WSHE deviations
- Able to operate the crane in a safe manner under clear signal from a signalman
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace
- Qualified crane operator with BCA and MOM recognized
- Undertake any other assignment related to his scope of work assigned by the HOD and/or Management whenever deemed necessary.
