International Logistics and Freight Forwarding company is looking a candidate for an open position as Operations executive cum customers care for its Singapore branch office.
Key Duties, Roles & Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for customers' inquiries, addressing their logistics needs and concerns and cooperate with staff to handle Customers' enquiries.
• Job file creation and preparation of all documents for submission to customers and internal filing.
• Responsible for invoice creation and accountable / keep track of sub-contractor/ supplier’s bills (invoices) based on per job basis.
• Timely respond to customers inquiries and requests for quotations and informations
• Perform data entry, job creation, billing, general administrative or other ad-hoc duties/tasks assigned within the operations department
• To assist Operations Department and Manager on special projects assigned and provide backup to other office team when necessary.
• To work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
• Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding and/or Logistics business is requested.
• Education and Experience - GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level ore higher education
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Able to converse in English
• Knowledge and experience in accounting and finance will be an advantage in the selection
