Job Title: Operations Assistant
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our visual merchandising, events and catering, and hamper management efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our catering offerings and ensuring our outlets are visually appealing, as well as managing hampers effectively. You will work closely with various teams to enhance our brand image and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Catering Expansion:
Plan and execute initiatives to expand the catering business by introducing platters, bento boxes, charcuterie boards, canapés, and other offerings.
Provide operational support for all event and catering-related inquiries, both on and off-site.
Oversee the entire process from preparation to delivery, including after-sales feedback.
2. Visual Merchandising:
Ensure all outlets are visually appealing and that products are displayed for optimal sales.
Train staff to maintain displays and adhere to merchandising standards.
Verify that communication materials are strategically placed and collaborate with the marketing team to improve visibility.
Source and purchase props for displays, including festive decor.
3. Hampers:
Curate and update hamper varieties available online and offline, tailoring options for corporate clients and festive occasions.
Support the sales of hampers and ensure timely execution from order to delivery, including after-sales feedback.
Negotiate with suppliers for pricing of hamper materials and suggest appropriate selling prices in line with the brand and competitors.
4. Other Duties:
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by your direct manager to support overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail operations, merchandising, event planning, or catering preferred.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
