Human Resources Manager

About the Role:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will report to C-level management and take ownership over Ampotech’s recruiting and employee onboarding process as the company scales in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in HR and administration for fast-growing teams, and can influence the development of the company’s policies, training and development programs. This role involves coordinating with regional staff in Ampotech’s branch offices to maintain consistent practices and compliance to internal policies.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the human resource function in Singapore including (i) recruiting talent, (ii) managing employee onboarding and training, (iii) managing the performance appraisal process.
  • Manage HR and administrative staff in Ampotech’s regional offices, to align employment practices and ensure compliance to company policies at a group level.
  • Organize and promote company activities such as knowledge sharing seminars and team building events.
  • Serve as the Environmental & Social (E&S) compliance officer and update relevant metrics and statistics in the company’s ESG management system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business administration or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, business operations, general administration or a similar role
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience defining employee benefits and assessing market practice and trends to maintain a competitive salary and benefits package for staff across multiple countries
  • Familiar with Singapore employment regulations and the processes for employing Singaporean/PR staff as well as staff on Employment Passes, S-Passes, and Work Permits
  • Experience working with employee share option plan
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese, Vietnamese, and/or Malay is a plus
