Associate Psychologist (Clinical) - 12 months - Caldecott

  • Clinical Work
  • Incumbent will be assigned to support Clinical Psychologist in:
  • Arranging client interviews
  • Conducting brief screening interviews for participants prior to the start of their treatment.
  • Administering evaluation battery to clients
  • Preparing and facilitating group-based activities.
  • Tracking of clients’ treatment progress through recording and uploading of case notes.
  • Preparing of treatment reports and updating programme manuals
  • Research Work
  • Incumbent will be assigned to support Research Psychologist/Implementation Specialist in:
  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Assisting in the facilitation of focus groups
  • Transcription of audio/video recordings and perform data entry
  • Setting up of databases and/or dashboards
  • Data analysis
  • Monitoring research data collection progress
  • Curate and verify quality of collected data while ensuring data security
  • Draft reports/presentations for research project updates
  • Policy Work
  • Implementation of recommendations for youth and family under the National Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy
  • Organising engagements with partner agencies
  • Preparation of public communications materials
  • Administrative Work
  • Designing of infographics, presentations, and other dissemination materials
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties assigned by the reporting officer

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology (Second class and above)
  • Candidates should possess an understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Interest in working with the offending population
  • Willing to work a maximum of two weekday evenings per week (flexible working hours will apply)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Due to work from home arrangement, candidates must have a private space to conduct video conferencing sessions to ensure data confidentiality
  • Proficiency in data analytics software (e.g., SPSS, R, STATA) is a plus.
  • Experience with online survey platformsis a plus
  • Experience with digital communication / design software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
