Job Responsibilities
- Enhance business performance of subsidiaries in Indonesia and expand the business by working closely with stakeholders to gather and provide insightful analysis, develop and propose solutions to capture business opportunities.
- Set appropriate financial budgets and key performance indicators to drive growth in accordance to SMBC Group’s mid-term strategies and monitor business performance through assessment of local management reports.
- Implement strategies and initiatives supported by a good understanding of financial markets and business processes to support business growth.
- Report to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree with min 7 years of work experience in the financial industry with experience in business management and / or performance management.
- Possess sound commercial sense in understanding business considerations with a keen interest in enhancing business value propositions.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management with the ability to process multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and timeliness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written) including excellent presentation skills, effective cross-cultural communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong collaboration and team playing abilities, with an ability to work with cross-functional teams across different countries while possessing the ability to work independently.
- Proactive with adaptability to change, and ability to implement innovative and value-adding solutions.
- Possess quantitative analytical, business management and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese is highly preferred as this role needs to prepare reports in Japanese for reporting to Head Office in Japan. This role also needs to present and communicate with stakeholders and counterparts in Tokyo Head Office who mainly communicate in Japanese.
