As a Travel Planner, your role will involve assisting clients in planning and organizing their travel experiences and providing operational support and assistance for travel products like GFOB, Hurtigruten, Rocky Mountaineer, Tralfagar, etc.
You will be responsible for designing customized itineraries, coordinating travel logistics, managing bookings, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for clients. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of various destinations and travel products will contribute to creating unforgettable travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- To gather information such as budget, tour duration, hotels, and meals preferences when receiving new inquiries from clients and efficiently communicate with respective suppliers for itineraries and quotations and negotiate the best possible rates.
- To provide administrative/operational support to the department including answering phone calls creating invoices, collecting deposits and balance payments from clients.
- To handle queries, requests & feedback from clients efficiently and professionally.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and external clients.
- Extended working hours are expected during peak seasons or travel fair periods.
- To perform any other function as deemed necessary by your immediate superior or management in relation to your function.
