French Chamber Of Commerce In Singapore, The

On behalf of one of its clients, an Insights & Strategy Consultancy, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Insights Director – Luxury & Premium Brands.


Our client is a leading subscription-based platform offering insights and data subscriptions to leading luxury brands across different luxury verticals, looking to gain affluent consumers’ market share.


They are looking for a Consumer Insights Director to join their Client development team in Singapore to help service and delight their Luxury and Wealth client base in Singapore.


This role will provide opportunities to work on multiple types of consumer insights projects and methodologies with a senior client base across the luxury and Wealth sector.


A successful candidate for this role needs to demonstrate ability to work in a fast moving environment. She/he must be agile, driven, self-motivated, and take ownership of projects and work.


Key tasks and responsibilities include :



  • Lead research efforts and workshops, providing strategic guidance to clients in the luxury sector.


  • Understand affluent consumer behavior to create effective solutions.


  • Organize projects efficiently and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.


  • Generate creative ideas using available data tools.


  • Collaborate with teams, driving strategic discussions and maintaining high standards of analysis.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Applied Mathematics; MBA preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in planning or insight roles within leading consumer goods companies, creative agencies, or consumer research consultancies, with expertise in FMCG or Spirits industry being advantageous.
  • Proven track record of translating consumer insights into successful business strategies.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel or Access, with familiarity in other analytical software.
  • Strong understanding of modern theories of brand growth and decline, coupled with the ability to model trends and optimize strategies.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills, capable of leading teams to innovate solutions to consumer challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex analyses into actionable insights, managing complexity effectively.
