Ideally the successful candidate will possess at least 3 to 5 years' PQE experience in aviation / asset finance in order to undertake the work and responsibility entailed in this role.
About you
We are seeking a candidate who is/has:
- Qualified in England and Wales and/or any other similar common law jurisdiction
- Ideally has at least 3 to 5 years' post-qualification relevant working experience in an international law firm
- Experienced in a broad range aviation asset finance work including aircraft leasing, sale and purchase, novation, operating lease, lease extension, release of security, purchase leaseback and novation, acquisition and financing, co-leasing, etc
- Capable of taking the lead in the execution of sizeable client engagements
- Attention to detail and demonstrates good practical case handling skills
- Able to work under pressure and handle concurrent tasks
- A team player with good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident, is willing to learn and take on responsibility at assigned tasks, whilst understanding it is okay to ask for support and guidance
- Efficient, organised, and can demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Personable and able to communicate comfortably with colleagues and clients
On offer
The successful candidate will report to Ling Lui (see Ling Lui | LinkedIn) who is active in the Singapore and Asian aviation finance markets. She and the team here advise financiers, lessors and operators on cross-border multi-jurisdictional secured aircraft financings, JOLCO financings, aircraft leasing and trading, export credit-backed financings, commercial loans and general asset financings.
