Senior Project Engineer
- Permanent role
- Basic up to $4500 + Transport Claim + Mobile Claim + AWS + VB
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Location: Jurong East
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales staff to understand sales orders and client security needs.
- Work directly with clients to confirm and clarify their security requirements.
- Finalize security designs and solutions, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other systems before executing orders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate contractor allocation and material procurement with the Project Manager.
- Oversee the installation of security systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Integrate various security systems to work cohesively.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to verify functionality
- Address technical issues and system malfunctions during the handover stage.
- Provide technical information to the Service and Operations teams during the handover.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for projects, including design plans and installation records.
- Assist in conducting system training sessions for clients or end-users, covering operations and best practices.
- Prepare training slides for both internal and external use.
- Ensure all security systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Implement safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on the latest security technology advancements and industry trends.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage and monitor project progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Liaise with suppliers on equipment models and obtain quotations.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet performance standards.
- Implement best practices for security system installation and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety and health procedures as outlined in ISO45001.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics or a related Engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in site supervision and coordination with owners, main contractors, and subcontractors.
- Experience in the installation of alarm, card access, and CCTV systems.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of Risk Management.
