Aladdin Business Analyst (1 year contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Aladdin Business Analyst 1 year contract to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs, implementing solutions, and supporting the optimization of the Aladdin platform. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the system's efficiency, supporting various business processes, and providing analytical insights. The successful candidate will have strong financial knowledge, experience with the Aladdin platform, and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the Aladdin platform.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance Aladdin system features, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for system improvements, efficiencies, and automation within Aladdin.
  • Provide ongoing support to users by troubleshooting system issues and answering questions related to functionality and usage.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with risk management, portfolio management, and trading teams to ensure Aladdin configurations meet their needs.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting to provide insights on system performance and business impact.
  • Ensure proper integration and data flow between Aladdin and other internal/external systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest Aladdin platform features and capabilities, identifying ways to leverage new tools to enhance business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the Aladdin platform (BlackRock) in a business analyst, systems analyst, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment management, and portfolio analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and work with IT teams to implement solutions.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools is preferred.
