This is a permanent position with a Fintech company. They are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to be part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React.js.
- Be part of architectural discussions and contribute to the design and implementation of new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and actively provide solutions for improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development, particularly in React.js and the fintech domain.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements for new projects and enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on React.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API) and component-based architecture.
- Proficient in using RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, web standards, and browser compatibility issues.
- Knowledge of modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library) to ensure robust and error-free code.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banking, fintech, or other financial domains.
- Exposure to financial applications, security best practices, and handling sensitive data
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large-scale applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
