Roles & Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
- Manage AWS social media, website and other digital platforms, including messaging, copywriting, and targeting for social / digital campaigns.
- Create engaging content optimised for search engines to enhance online presence and attract traffic to AWS’s digital channels.
- Proficiently utilise digital platforms to engage target audiences, and measure effectiveness of campaigns.
2. Strategic Communication and Brand Storytelling
- Craft compelling narratives that align with AWS’s mission, articulating the impact of its services, and build strong brand awareness amongst stakeholders, including but not limited to funders, potential and existing donors, community partners and the public.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
- Create and execute content for AWS collaterals including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, flyers, annual reports, and so on.
- Develop stories for the media, including developing media angles, releases, invites, and media kits, and managing relationships with media partners.
- Work closely with a pool of volunteer content creators to co-create content for AWS communication platforms.
- Adjust communications strategies for maximum engagement through data analytics.
4. Other roles
- Develop partnerships and manage relationships to expand AWS's network.
- Provide secretariat support for the Communications & Advocacy Committee.
- Perform other marketing or communications-related tasks as needed, including content creation, email marketing, and market research.
- Work with Executive Director to develop and execute marcom plan, campaign and calendar.
- Assist in events and other tasks as needed.
