We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our Business Development team in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the sports sector and eager to drive business growth on an international level.


Role Summary: As the Assistant Business Development Manager, you will assist the Business Development Manager in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the swimming industry in both Singapore and China. You will develop and implement strategic plans to expand our market presence, build strong client relationships, and achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities in assisting the Business Development Manager:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships within the swimming industry in Singapore and China
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications & Job requirements:

  • Min. 2 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably within the sports industry or the Chinese market.
  • The nature of this job requires proficiency in both English & Mandarin for communication among key stakeholders
  • Frequent travel between China and Singapore is required for this job.
  • Strong understanding of the swimming market and industry trends in Singapore & China.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
