Our client is a well-established global investment management firm.
Job Duties:
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information in accordance with both US GAAP and local standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries and issue escalations, collaborating with business and support teams regionally
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial compliance reports.
- Understand and ensure compliance with tax regulations, including corporate tax, GST/VAT, and transfer pricing reporting.
- Oversee and facilitate the completion of financial and tax audits.
- Implement accounting functions and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance as new offices are established in the Asia Pacific region.
- Actively participate in global and regional projects aimed at enhancing controls, processes, and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury, and other finance teams across various global offices.
- Review and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Both public and private accounting experience preferred
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Strong project management skills across numerous activities and teams.
- US GAAP and IFRS proficiency
