Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive lead generation. This role will involve content creation, social media management, market research, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent and effective messaging. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of both international and Chinese social media platforms and trends, ensuring the company’s marketing strategies resonate with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee content creation for various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and email marketing events.
- Social Media Management: Lead and manage the company's presence across major social media platforms such as Chinese social media platforms, including WeChat Official Accounts, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), Zhihu, Douyin (TikTok) etc..
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis and audience research to refine targeting strategies and stay competitive. Analyze data and provide insights to adjust marketing strategies based on performance metrics.
- Lead Generation & Funnel Management: Develop and implement lead generation strategies to expand the company’s customer base. Track and report on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts, optimizing strategy for higher conversion rates.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the marketing team, sales team and management team to ensure consistency in messaging across all digital platforms.
- Platform Management & Optimization: Manage the company's presence on social media platforms. Leverage platform-specific strategies to grow the company’s audience and increase engagement.
Experience Requirements:
- 0-5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on both global and Chinese digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu etc.) and their role in engaging audiences and generating leads.
- Proficiency in social media advertising.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and regions.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking, reporting, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize strategies.
- Familiarity with the tech and property industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B & B2C digital marketing and lead generation.
- Knowledge of international and Chinese markets and consumer behavior trends.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
