Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This role is perfect for fresh graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting. You will assist in managing financial records, performing daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate records. Provide administrative support to the Accounts team.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in collecting and counting the cash on delivery (COD) collected by drivers and ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Reconcile bank statements, and supplier/customer statements.
- Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and financial reconciliations.
- Sending statement of accounts to customers on monthly basis.
- Handle ad-hoc duties assigned by the Accounts Manager or Finance team.
- Handle routine correspondence and communication.
- Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately and adheres to internal control procedures.
Requirements:
- GCE "O" level or equivalent; relevant certificate is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn.
