You will be managing application delivery / development team for a large financial institution, to manage the entire SDLC for delivery of complex compliance / AML solution
The role will manage team size of around 10. It covers Development,Tech lead, Testers and SAs. You will also be managing vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Provide leadership and manage development of compliance application to meet goals and objectives.
- Managing entire project life cycles including testing and BAs
- Ensuring solutios are delivered on time , within budget
- Work with the Business teams (Head / MDs) to define and collaborate with other departments, to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's products and operations.
- Recommend and support best practices and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.
- Drive technological excellence, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of all software.
- Advocate best practices in software development
Skills and Experience Required:
· Bachelor or Master degree with substantial experience as Delivery manager either with min 6 years of experience in banking industry
· Well rounded and balanced personality considering wider context and strategic factors when assessing, recommending and implementing change
· Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of talented engineers.
. Proven experience in leading and delivery large projects
· Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
. Experience working with Java or .Net application will be a plus
