Structural Designer
Salary up to $6000-8000
Working hour : Mon - Fri 8am to 6pm
Location : Jurong East
Job Description :
* Create and develop innovative designs for tensile and membrane structures, ensuring aesthetic appeal, structural integrity, and functionality.
* Work closely with engineers to select appropriate materials, such as fabrics and coatings, suitable for different projects.
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp.
* Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure designs meet load, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Oversee design elements from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with client requirements and timelines.
* Conduct site visits to understand project environments, assess installation feasibility, and ensure the designs can be implemented effectively.
* Work directly with clients to understand their needs, propose design solutions, and provide ongoing design support during the project lifecycle.
Requirements :
*Posses Degree in Architecture, Industrial design, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
*Min 2-3 years experience in designing tensile, membrane structures is preferred, or experience in architectural or structural design with a focus on lightweight materials.
* Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering is a plus.
* Ability to develop unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
* Knowledge of relevant building codes, load calculations, and environmental considerations specific to tensile structures.
* Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical teams and clients.
