Brand Strategist

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Brand Strategist to join our product development team. In this role, you will be a key player in shaping and communicating our brand identity within the dynamic tech landscape, with a particular focus on how our brand is expressed through our app design. You will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies that enhance awareness, drive engagement, and build a strong emotional connection with our target audience, aligning with our product development roadmap and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to understand product vision, features, and user experience within the app.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the tech industry, specifically related to app design and branding.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, their needs, motivations, and how they interact with technology products and app interfaces.
  • Translate market insights and consumer understanding into actionable brand strategies, brand guidelines, and messaging frameworks that align with our product roadmap and are seamlessly integrated into our app design.

Brand Storytelling and Messaging within the App

  • Craft compelling brand narratives and messaging that resonate with our target audience and differentiate our app in the tech market.
  • Ensure brand consistency in every aspect of the app, from visual elements and user interface to micro-interactions and user experience.
  • Develop a consistent brand voice and tone across all app-related communication channels, including app store descriptions, in-app messaging, and push notifications.

Brand Measurement and Analysis

  • Track and analyze key brand metrics related to the app, such as app downloads, user engagement, and user reviews, to measure the effectiveness of brand strategies and product launches.
  • Use data and insights to optimize brand performance within the app and make data-driven decisions to improve brand equity and product positioning/

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX/UI designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment across all departments and throughout the app development process.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting brand strategies and recommendations to senior management.

Stay Ahead of the Curve

  • Stay informed about the latest app design trends, technologies, and best practices in the tech industry to ensure our brand and app remain relevant and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing brand strategies, preferably within the technology industry, with a focus on app design and branding.
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles, brand positioning, and brand architecture in the context of digital products and app interfaces.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a passion for building strong brands.
  • A genuine interest in technology and a deep understanding of the tech landscape, particularly in mobile app design and user experience.

Good-to-have:

  • Knowledge of app design principles and best practices.
