Accounts Executive, ASEAN (Contract: 6-12 months)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive for our ASEAN operations. You will manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, process staff claims, prepare quarterly GST reports, and assist in financial closings. Collaborating with the Finance Manager, you will support financial insights and audits. If you're proactive and organized, we invite you to join our team!


Essential Functions

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): Handle customer communications regarding sales invoices and collections, record sales and collections transactions, and send statements of accounts to customers to facilitate collection efforts.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP): Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices and payments, record supplier invoice and payment transactions, and validate Purchase Orders against received invoices.
  • Deliver Results: Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Staff Claims: Manage and process monthly staff expense claims efficiently.
  • Prepare Quarterly GST Reporting: Compile and prepare GST reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in Periodic Closings: Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing activities, including bank reconciliations, AR and AP aging reports, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Complete Scheduled Tasks: Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks are completed on time.
  • Follow Internal Procedures: Ensure compliance with internal processes and assist in improving standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure proper and timely filing of all financial data and documentation.
  • Support the Finance Manager: Assist with local financial statements, audits, and variance analysis as required.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Diploma / Degree holder in Accounting or its equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Oracle experience is preferred
  • Able to work independently and in a team, responsible and positive work attitude
  • Organised, results-oriented and able to work under pressure
