SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Officer (Contract Logistics) is responsible for assisting the Warehouse/Logistics Manager in supervising and executing daily Warehouse operational activities to conscientiously observe and perform all job scope and responsibilities assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plan and organize to ensure daily Warehouse Operations meet customer’s expectation and delivery time line.
- Ensure goods in the warehouse are efficiently and properly handled, collected, received, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred, dispatched, shipment overages or shortages.
- Good control of stock inventory / shipment / document accuracy and accountability.
- Enforce compliance to the warehouse procedures, safety and audit requirement. Maintain a workspace/ warehouse that is always free of
debris.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve company’s, supplier’s and customer’s objectives.
- Responsible to follow the facility security and safety policies, strictly adhere to all local government rules & regulations
- Assist in managing manpower deployment and arrange for overtime when the need arises.
- Knowledge in Incident (CAPA) and KPI report.
- Any other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:
• Minimum Diploma/Advance Diploma and/or a good O Level result, or equivalent or higher
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in warehouse management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & WMS.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Possess valid forklift license and has experience in operating material handling equipment
• Physically fit
