Head of Sales & Account Management AVIATAR APAC

Lufthansa Technik is currently seeking a highly capable candidate for the position of Head of Sales & Account Management AVIATAR APAC for Lufthansa Technik’s customers in the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore. The position falls within the Division Digital Fleet Services of Lufthansa Technik and will be responsible to:

  • Leading product sales projects for the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment and developing product sales strategies in close coordination with Market Intelligence and the Corporate Sales interface
  • Leading, motivating and developing the Product Sales team. Carrying out individual personnel measures, where necessary in coordination with the HR department.
  • Proactively initiate, monitor, accompany and, if necessary, manage sales projects and report according to a defined communication concept within the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment. Develop a clear understanding of roles between the team and PD management
  • Ensure key account management at the interface to customers within the sales region.
  • Close coordination and cooperation with the specialist departments and operating sites of the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment responsible for production
  • Ensure sufficient product, sales and market knowledge of the Product Sales team. Development of a training system for the Product Sales employees
  • Check offers and contract contents of complex sales projects and ensure quality for economic and technical plausibility. Ensure the generation of profitable sales revenue from sales projects
  • Coordinate and agree targets for the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment with Corporate Sales. Agree target agreements with the specialist departments and operating sites responsible for production in the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment
  • Represent the Digital Fleet Services (DGF) segment at trade fairs, conferences and events and give presentations
  • Performing overarching special tasks (e.g. deputizing for the head of department) and managing complex projects

Your Profile

  • Completed technical/university studies in industrial engineering or engineering sciences
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in product, technical sales and/or customer service
  • Very good market/competitive and product knowledge of segment DGF and its circumstances
  • Very good business knowledge, knowledge of contract and aviation law
  • Good knowledge of production contexts, their processes and their interrelationships
  • Extensive experience in customer acquisition and customer service
  • Business fluent in English, knowledge of another Asian language or German is an advantage. Clear and direct communication.
  • Good IT skills (especially MS Office, databases)
  • Very good negotiating skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
  • Very high level of service and customer orientation with high resilience
  • Confident and skillful appearance
  • Strong ability to lead, guide and motivate employees
  • Strong conceptual and very good analytical skills
  • Strong initiative, decisiveness and a high sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to work at home and abroad, willingness to travel frequently.
