M&E Engineer
Job Description & Requirements
- Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of mechanical and electrical works
- Monitor, track, and provide timely project progress reports to the management
- To supervise and control M&E sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely and to ensure that works on site are carried out according to specifications / drawing
- Liaise and hold meetings with clients and M&E consultants on technical resolution, inspection & submission
- Evaluate costing received for M&E works
- To monitor M&E work documents and shop drawings coordination
- Able to ensure that all requirements by Clients, Consultants and relevant Authorities are adhered and established
- Review & co-ordinate subcontractors’ shop drawings and quotations in terms of mechanical and electrical compliance for calling of sub-contract works
- Submission and coordination between sub-contractor, consultants and Project Team
- Supervise and inspect all mechanical and electrical works to ensure quality of work
- To liaison with Consultants for technical clarification
- To monitor and ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approved drawing/specification and complete within schedule time
- To assist in the deployment and storage of M&E materials, plant and equipment delivered by the M&E subcontractors
- Contract administration of M&E subcontracts
- To provide support and arrange the necessary required inspections
1) Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
2) Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Construction / Building / Engineering industry
