Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable retail sales consultant for a high-end furniture retailer. This is a multifaceted role that combines sales expertise, interior design capability , product knowledge, and customer service. Weekend and PH working is a must. Here are the key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement and Design Proposals
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Understand the product range and assess customer preferences and needs.
- Offer personalized recommendations and solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Generate leads and communicate with customers via WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Take responsibility for creating and curating social media content to represent the brand.
- Utilize design software to illustrate furniture layout options for customers.
- Provide expert advice on interior design solutions tailored to the customer’s space and style.
2. Sales Performance
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and performance quotas.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing sales transactions.
3. Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, including materials, craftsmanship, features, and benefits.
- Stay informed about new product launches and trends in the luxury furniture market.
- Effectively communicate product details to customers and provide in-depth explanations.
- Support the marketing team by assisting with creatives and design materials for promotional efforts.
4. Store Presentation
- Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, well-organized, and aligned with the brand’s luxury image.
- Manage product displays to maintain a high standard of presentation and ensure the store layout is inviting.
5. Customer Service
- Address customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Provide comprehensive after-sales support, including follow-ups to resolve post-purchase issues.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate and organized sales records, customer profiles, and follow-up details.
- Regularly update the company’s CRM system to track customer interactions and sales progress.
- Collaborate with the stockroom to manage inventory levels and ensure product availability.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to achieve collective store goals and objectives.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development activities.
- Share best practices and foster a positive, supportive team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in high-end furniture or interior design.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and graphic design abilities.
- Proficiency in using design software to create customer proposals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- A passion for high-end furniture and the ability to build strong, lasting customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic retail environment.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
