KITCHEN STEWARD

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Ensure that the assigned place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times.
2. Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by reporting line manager.
3. Clean and wash glassware, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to performance standards.
4. Empty rubbish bins according to scheduled garbage runs.
5. Adhere to the opening and closing procedures established for the department.
6. Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures, use of dishwashing/glasswasher machines and the type of chemicals to be used.
7. Treat all operating equipment and supplies carefully to minimise damage and reduce wastage.

WE PROVIDE

1. Flexi working hours of between 20 and 30 hours per week over a 5-day work week.

3. Transport will be provided for night shift work after 11.30pm.
4. Consideration will be given for preferences of morning or afternoon shifts.
