As a Tech Lead with expertise in PHP Development, you will be the cornerstone of our technical team, bridging the gap between management and developers. You will be responsible for leading the development efforts, making critical technical decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your role will encompass a blend of hands-on coding, technical guidance, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Define the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals. Make informed decisions on technology and architecture.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
• Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and debugging, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure software architectures. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges. Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Advocate for and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development
• Proven experience in leading and managing PHP development teams.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., CodeIgniter, Laravel).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
