Operation Director

Pepper Internet Technology Pte. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management:Lead and manage all aspects of trading operations, including order processing, logistics, supply chain management, and risk mitigation.
    Monitor trading operations and ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and policies.
    Implement effective trading systems and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
    Manage trading contracts, negotiations, and relationships with counterparties and stakeholders.
  2. Strategic Planning & Execution:Contribute to strategic business planning and work with the leadership team to set and achieve long-term goals.
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational processes, focusing on cost reduction, service improvement, and efficiency.
    Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of the operations department.
  3. Team Leadership & Development:Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a positive work culture.
    Ensure that training and development opportunities are available to all team members.
    Implement performance management processes and provide ongoing feedback to foster growth and development.
  4. Risk & Compliance:Oversee risk management for operational and trading activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure that the company adheres to local and international laws and regulations.
  5. Stakeholder Management:Liaise with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
    Manage relationships with external partners and ensure smooth operational processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations within the trading industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven experience leading large teams and implementing organizational changes.
  • Deep understanding of trading systems, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
