Our client are global life science lab instrument and equipment manufacturer and tester.
Role: Assistant Engineer
Duration: 6 months renewable contract
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am – 6pm
Location: Marsiling
Responsibilities:
- Updating and maintenance of Assembly Procedures.
- Assist in part/component measurements.
- Assist in running engineering evaluation – collecting and compiling engineering data.
- Coordinating/tracking non-conformance parts movement
- Support CO (Change Order)/PCA activity.
- Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and company safety policies, procedures and guidelines
- Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Preferably someone that has Diploma/ITE in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in lean manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Positive attitude, open mindset and team player. Effectively work with people and coordinate with external vendors, suppliers and contractors.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills across all levels and function within a multi-disciplinary product development environment.
