The Certified Pre-Owned Instrument (CPO) business is a top choice for budget-conscious customers looking to purchase pre-owned analytical instrumentation from Agilent that meets the same high standards for quality and post-sale ownership protection as new Agilent instruments. As budgets decrease and demands for productivity increase, customers need reliable, high-quality equipment at affordable prices. Pre-owned analytical instruments are received from various sources and undergo cleaning, refurbishment, and testing according to Agilent standards and specifications in preparation for resale through Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned Instrument program. The CPO business is rapidly growing and highly visible within LSAG, and it aims to expand its global reach by establishing a new refurbishment capability footprint in Singapore. As a Refurbishment Technician, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing equipment following Agilent specifications and to a "like new" standard
- Collaborating with a large team across various functions
- Receiving training and providing support for various products within the business portfolio
- Maintaining accurate and detailed repair records
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
- Reviewing and maintaining factory work instructions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Adhering to SOPs and WI’s and upholding quality and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, or its equivalent
- Typically, candidates should have 3-6 years of relevant experience in technical support and troubleshooting for software and hardware at the entry-level.
- Hands-on system-level (assembly, troubleshooting, testing) experience with at least one of the Agilent products: Liquid Chromatography (LC), LCMS, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Automation products.
- Proactive and able to lead when required.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Fostering innovation and emphasizing continuous development.
- Demonstrated expertise with SAP ECC and Agile/MES
- Proficiency in assisting others with technical problems.
- Demonstrated experience with Excel data entry and report generation.
- Understanding of bill of material structures, part numbers, and product configuration.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with global team members.
