About GoBuB:

GoBuB is an innovative, child-led playspace designed to foster creativity, learning, and fun. We’re seeking a dynamic, friendly, and highly organized individual to join our team as a Facilitator, where the magic of play and learning come to life every day.


Job Responsibilities:

Engage and Play with Children: Facilitate and participate in activities that encourage children to explore their creativity and learning through play. Ensure a positive, engaging experience for children of all ages.

Guest Experience: Greet guests (children and parents) warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere. Take the time to remember guests’ names and make them feel valued and recognized upon return visits.

Check-ins + Guest Management: Manage the check-in process for both children and parents, ensuring a smooth and organized registration process. Handle any inquiries with professionalism and kindness.

Event Coordination: Assist in the preparation, management, and facilitation of events, including birthday parties, workshops, and themed activities. Ensure events run smoothly and guests have a great experience.

Light Snack Preparation: Prepare simple snacks such as toast or almond butter on sourdough for children and parents in line with our health-conscious menu.

Space Maintenance: Keep the play and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Ensure toys, materials, and equipment are well-maintained and available for activities.


Requirements:

Experience working with children: Previous experience in a childcare or education setting is preferred but not required. A passion for working with kids is a must.

Customer service skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to create a welcoming atmosphere for children and parents alike.

Organization and multitasking: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, including guest check-ins, event coordination, and light food preparation.

Communication skills: Excellent verbal communication, with the ability to interact comfortably with both children and adults.

Flexibility and adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment where tasks can vary, and willing to take on new challenges.

Basic culinary skills: Ability to prepare simple snacks in line with GoBuB’s health-conscious offerings. For example, toast with almond butter, coffee & tea.

Positive attitude and energy: Enthusiasm for working with kids, a strong sense of playfulness, and a collaborative team spirit.
