Job Type: One-year Renewable Contract
We are looking for a Qlik Sense Developeris responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions using Qlik Sense, a powerful data analytics and visualization platform.
Dashboard Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced interactive dashboards in Qlik Sense to meet business requirements.
- Create custom reports and dashboards using Qlik Sense visualizations, expressions, and functions.
- Optimize dashboard performance by utilizing best practices in Qlik Sense design.
Data Modelling:
- Develop and maintain complex data models within Qlik Sense, including data integration and transformation.
- Build and maintain Qlik Sense data connections, load scripts, and QVD generation.
- Perform ETL tasks, such as cleaning, transforming, and loading data from multiple data sources.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to help drive business decisions through data analysis.
- Generate reports and data visualizations tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
Support & Maintenance:
- Monitor and troubleshoot Qlik Sense applications and server environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Provide technical support for production issues and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of data models, dashboards, and processes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with data engineers, data architects, and business analysts to ensure seamless data flow and solution delivery.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to best practice discussions, and suggest improvements for Qlik Sense implementations.
User Training:
- Provide training and support to business users on how to use Qlik Sense dashboards effectively.
- Develop user guides and technical documentation for end-users and team members.
Must-have:
· More than 5 years of hands-on experience in BI development, design, and architecture in enterprise tools primarily using Qlik. Experience in Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy and SAS Visual Analytics would be an advantage.
· Expertise in Qlik scripting, data modelling, set analysis, and visualization.
· Knowledge of ETL processes, including Qlik Sense Extractor and Qlik View Data (QVD) file generation.
· Experience with Qlik NPrinting for report automation
· Experience in Azure cloud and native service offerings. Associate level solution architect skillset is preferred.
· Ability to understand and convert the business logics into SQL queries and validate it against the data.
· Ability to analyse and interpret data into business insights.
· Familiarity with cloud solutions like SaaS, PaaS and iPaaS
· Familiarity with Postgres SQL
· Prior experience building compelling and usable data visualizations and analytics with commercial and/or open source BI tools
· SQL proficiency necessary to build and maintain complex queries and data pipelines
· Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer science or equivalent
Nice to have:
· Experience in BI implementation and administration.
· Experience with integrating dashboards and reports into applications and web forms
· Data pipeline and/or database development experience
· Prototyping and development skills in web front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React) especially on charting libraries (Highcharts, D3, Chart.js)
· Good scripting knowledge in Python
