Job Description
Personnel to conduct the following programme for Primary 1, 2, 3 & 4 students, with all hardware and software provided by the school:
- Personal Learning Device (PLD)
- Design Thinking Programme
- Design Thinking Prototype Creation
- OSMO Coding Programming
- ScratchJr Coding Programming
- Micro:bit Coding Programming
- 3D Printing Programme
Develop and submit lesson plans and students’ booklets for each type of programme:
- Primary 1 - (Term 2) 10 sessions covering: Basic PC Operations, Touch typing, Web Browsing / Search Engines (I), Cyber Wellness, Zoom Logging In
- Primary 1 - (Term 4) 10 sessions covering: Coding / Programming, OSMO set
- Primary 2 - (Term 2) 10 sessions covering: Basic PC Operations, MS Word, MS Power Point (I), Cyber Wellness, Search Engines, Zoom Loggin In
- Primary 2 - (Term 4) 10 sessions covering: Scratch Junior Programming
- Primary 3 - (Term 2) 10 sessions covering: Mobile devices and applications, Introduction to Micro:bit Programming
- Primary 3 - (Term 4) 10 sessions covering: Design Thinking Skills, Design Thinking Prototype Project Creation
- Primary 4 - (Term 2) 10 sessions covering: 3D Printing Programming, Introduction of tinkercad programme
- Primary 4 - (Term 4) 10 sessions covering: Design Thinking Skills, Design Thinking Prototype Project Creation
Personnel is to conduct lessons that should:
- Enable students to understand basic use of Personal Computer (PC), productivity and school’s learning devices operations.
- Allow students to develop 21st Century Competencies (CC), design thinking skills and computational thinking skills.
- Conduct lessons for different cognitive level of students’ ability while grounded on cyber wellness values.
- Provide additional consultation sessions of guiding students in the completion of their project work outside curriculum time.
Other Tasks:
- Support in digital media creations for teaching and learning.
- Provide support in digital media platforms like school website, school Facebook, school Instagram and etc.
- Any other duties assigned by HOD Enriched Curriculum & ICT HOD/SH.
Requirements
- Relevant certification in ICT or Digital Media or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience in working in a primary school environment
- At least 5 years experience as a trainer for ICT programme
- Registered with the Ministry of Education under “Registry of Instructors for School”
Working hours
- Mondays to Fridays: 7.00am to 4.30pm inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

- Contract Period: From m 1 January 2025 to 30 November 2025 (excluding June 2025)
