Job Description
- Clean and tidy 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.
- Prepare ingredients and equipment for teachers to conduct Food & Nutrition (F&N) activities and practical work in the NFS kitchens daily.
- Prepare students’ ingredients and materials before lesson.
- Assist in checking and storing of goods.
- Assist in stock taking of equipment in the NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.
- Assist to ensure safety in the kitchen eg switching off of gas valves, safe keeping of sharp objects such as knives.
- Assist in ensuring the kitchen is ready for N and O levels National examinations.
- Assist in doing major spring cleaning of 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms during the June and December school holidays.
- Any ad hoc duties assigned as and when required based on the needs of the school.
Requirements
- Primary school education
- Preferably 3 years working experience in the related field
- Completed ‘Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation’ (WSH Level 1)
Working hours
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
